Career Information Seminar: HHA, CNA, PCT, EKG & Phlebotomy Technician

Event Description
Continuing Education will host an orientation and assessment for programs in the health care professions. These programs are designed for those entering the workforce or seeking specialized training.
HOME HEALTH AID (HHA): New York State-approved program for those seeking training to work in private homes and assisted living facilities.
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA): New York State-approved program for those seeking employment as CNAs in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and home health agencies.
NURSE TECHNICIAN (Patient Care Technician): Trains students for positions as advanced nursing assistants.
EKG TECHNICIAN and PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN: Prerequisites: Current NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or LPN or coordinator’s permission.
MUST ATTEND CAREER INFORMATION SEMINAR AND ORIENTATION
