The New York City Writing Project's Fourteenth Annual Teacher-to-Teacher Conference

Event Description
The New York City Writing Project will host its fourteenth annual Teacher-to-Teacher conference on June 2nd, 2012. The keynote speakers are Ernest Morell, writer, teacher, Professor of English Education and Director of the Institute for Urban and Minority Education (IUME) at Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as incoming Vice President of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and Juliette LaMontaigne, TED Senior Fellow, Innovations Consultant and Founder of Breaker, a design-led social entrepreneurship program for 18—24 year-olds. The program will include breakfast, lunch, and a packed day of fellowship, learning and thirty-plus workshops offered by NYC classroom teachers.
