Event Description
Writer, performer, and producer Tayo Aluko will present his piece "From Black Africa to the White House: A Talk about Black Political Resistance, Illustrated with Spirituals." He has performed this work in three continents. This event is organized by the Department of African and African American Studies as part of their Black History Month celebration.  It is also part of the School of Arts and Humanities Spring 2012 Speaker Series, and is co-sponsored by City and Humanities.
