Join us Fridays at noon for the latest Turnbull series that examines queer and binary representation within the world of art and design, as well as its audiences. The series coincides with and is conceptually aligned with Lehman College Art Gallery’s spring 2023 exhibition, Queer Love: Affection and Romance in Contemporary Art. 

Moderated by David Schwittek, associate professor of Digital Media and Graphic Design in the Art Department of Lehman College.

The Ingredients of a Perfect Cover Letter

This is an interactive workshop in which you will have the opportunity to outline your targeted cover letter. This workshop will furnish you with the knowledge and skills required to craft an effective cover letter which highlights your qualifications for that position. MASTERCLASS - Ori Bata: Orisha Dance Performance Technique
Ori Bata is a dance and performance technique for theatre arts that seeks to provide a conscious awakening and understanding about the orisha traditions of Trinidad and Tobago. Literally translated as "head" and "drum," Ori Bata can also be understood as meaning "mind" and "body" or "thoughts" and "actions". The technique encompasses all these ideas, transforming the aesthetic of the orisha traditions of Trinidad and Tobago into performance art.

Introduction to Leadership: Part 2

The prerequisite for this module is an Introduction to Leadership program. This fun, experiential program will facilitate student development in critical thinking and problem solving. They will use the Social Change Model to conceptualize, develop and implement a capstone project to serve their community.
