Dr. Rice's talk discusses pedagogical challenges particularly relating to gender identities and the strategies she and her colleagues at Hudson Link have developed to address them. Just walking in and replicating a course from a college on the outside is not going to work. She will describe specific challenges and rewards teaching different subjects and course levels from pre-college to upper level courses and lessons learned through years of discussion with students, careful reflection, and trial and error. | Room 221 |
