Our Graduate Information Sessions are designed to highlight the benefits and value of a Lehman College graduate degree and provide prospective applicants with an overview of our graduate programs. It is also an opportunity to meet with faculty and learn more about the application process, tuition costs, and transfer credits.

Music Concert: Lehman Chamber Players

The Lehman Chamber Players will kick off their musical season at Lehman College with a performance of works by Dvorak, Kahn, and Fuchs on Saturday, September 24, at 2 p.m. The public is invited to the free concert, which will be held in the Recital Hall on the third floor of the Music Building. Seating is limited.

The program will feature a variety of Romantic works including Dvorak’s melodious Piano Quintet in A Major, the Serenade for Oboe, Cello and Piano by the German composer Robert Kahn, and the Terzetto for 2 violins and viola by the Austrian composer Robert Fuchs.

Members of the Chamber Players include critically acclaimed violinist Anton Miller and violist Rita Porfiris, professors of violin and viola at New York University and the Hartt College of Music in Connecticut; violinist Elizabeth Chang, professor of violin at the University of Massachusetts; cellist Hamilton Berry; oboist Alan Hollander; and pianist Diana Mittler-Battipaglia, both professors of music at Lehman College.
