Create a floral drawing based on the work of artist Vaughn Spann!
Look, learn, and create together! Enjoy a family art class based on works in our exhibition Young Gifted and Black: The Lumpkin-Boccuzzi Family Collection of Contemporary Art!

Materials needed:
  • Any papers, recycle some mail or newspaper
  • Pencil

If you have but not necessary:
  • Crayons
  • Markers 
  • Colored Pencils
  • Oil Pastels

Flu shots will be provided by Rite Aid on the following dates: Monday, Sept. 19th 10-4pm in the student health center Tuesday, Sept. 20th 11-2pm in the East Dining Room of the Music Bldg. Monday, Sept. 26th 10-4pm at the student health center Tuesday, Sept. 27th 10-4pm at the student health center Tuesday, October 18th 12-4pm at the student health center. Open to students and staff! No copay with health insurance, $25 cash or check otherwise.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Piano Recital with Peter Vinograde
Dr. Peter Vinograde, professor of piano, will perform Beethoven's Sonata #17 in D minor ("Tempest"), Rachmaninoff's 3 Preludes, and Iberia Book 4 (Malaga, Jerez, Eritana) by Albeniz.

Dr. Vinograde, a world-renowned performer, tours the US, Canada, and Asia regularly. His numerous distinctions include first prize in the J.S. Bach International Competition, performances at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall and other noted venues, features on NPR and CBC, recordings on the Albany, Decca, and Phoenix labels, and many other honors.

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM Rational Leadership Model: Model The Way
(Class for Introduction to Leadership Certificate Program) Explore: Learn how to work in teams and learn the four stages of a group. All Lehman Students Are Welcome!
