Zach Blas - Surveillance, Subversion, and Seduction

Part of the Sara Little Turnbull Visiting Designer Speaker Series

Zach Blas is an artist, filmmaker, writer, and assistant professor at the University of Toronto whose practice spans moving image, computation, theory, performance, and science fiction. Blas engages the materiality of digital technologies while also drawing out the philosophies and imaginaries lurking in artificial intelligence, biometric recognition, predictive policing, airport security, the internet, and biological warfare.

Find out what criteria graduate schools consider, review basic information about how to build a successful undergraduate record, prepare an application, locate information about financial aid, and so on. The sooner you get started, the more competitive a record you can build.

Stephen Redenti - Evolution, Architecture, and Bioengineering of the Retina

Stephen Redenti is an associate professor of biology and biochemistry at Lehman College and the City University of New York Graduate Center. His lab’s research, funded by the National Institute of Health, explores cellular communication involved in the development and regeneration of retinal and other central nervous system tissue.

College Behind Bars Final Virtual Screening
Join us for the fourth and final virtual screening of Part IV of the Emmy-nominated documentary, College Behind Bars on Thursday, September 17th 1-3 p.m.

The 55-minute screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Lehman College President Daniel Lemons; Salimah El-Amin, Producer of College Behind Bars; Gregory Harvey, Bard Prison Initiative Alum and Reentry@Lehman Committee Member along with Reentry @Lehman Committee Member Anne Rice. The panel discussion will be recorded.
