Event Description:
The Lehman College and Community Chamber Orchestra will give its winter performance entitled Changing Times on Wednesday, December 13, at 7:00 pm in the Hearth Room, on the 3rd floor of the Music Building. The public is invited; admission is free, but all donations are gratefully accepted.
Directed by Professor Kyunghun Kim, the performance will feature Beethoven’s, Symphony No.1, an early work of his but highly regarded as very characteristic of his style. Renowned pianist and Lehman faculty member Molly Morkosky will play the lyrical 2nd movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.20 accompanied by the orchestra, and rounding out the program will be the Prelude to Verdi’s opera “La Traviata” in which the composer’s melodic charm and beauty shine. |
