Event Description:
Career Conversations presents "Taco Literacies: How to Get a Ph.D. and Grow Communities" with Steven Alvarez. Learn how to get a Ph.D. in literature and where it can take you from Professor Alvarez, poet and scholar of literacy studies and bilingual education. October 23, 3:30-5PM in Carman Hall, Room 328. A poetry reading by Dr. Alvarez will follow at 6pm in the Leonard Lief Library, Lehman College-CUNY.
