Event Description:
Urban Social Work (USW), a new journal created and edited by Lehman Social Work faculty Carl Mazza and Brenda Williams-Gray, is a peer-reviewed publication focusing specifically on urban social work theories and practice. This journal contributes to the improvement and sustainability of healthy urban communities through publication of articles on all components of social work in urban settings. USW aims to establish a forum for dialogue, debate, critical analysis, and identification of relevant and cutting-edge solutions for today’s urban communities.
Mazza and Williams-Gray will share their experiences starting with an idea to the dissemination of the first issue of their new journal. |
