Event Description:
Attend an information session on the Study Abroad Program's Winter Program in Santiago, Chile.

Students will spend the first half of the program in Santiago, where they will spend time learning in the classroom, visiting archives and memorials, and engaging with guest speakers and community activists. The second half of the program consists of fieldwork outside of Santiago. Students will travel to a Native American Mapuche community in the south of Chile for training and experience in community outreach and needs assessment, interview techniques, institutional observation and the documentation of human rights situations of indigenous and otherwise underserved Chilean people.

The program will run from January 4-24.
