Event Description:
One of the most alluring and exciting dance forms, tango embodies sensuality, intrigue, and lust, all conveyed with raw energy and knife-edge precision. Tango is rightly considered Argentina’s cultural gift to the world. The Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires brings this smoldering art form to the stage with twelve spectacular dancers and a quartet of brilliant musicians, tracing the history of the art form from its origin on the streets of Buenos Aires through its evolution to contemporary ballroom styles. The success of Tango Fire has been phenomenal; the company has toured the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, Asia and South Africa to wide acclaim. Led by Director of Choreography German Cornejo, known for his recent winning appearance with partner Gisela Galeassi on Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s Q’Viva!
