Lecture: African Media and Cinema with Mamadou Niang

Event Description:
Mamadou Niang, CEO and Managing Director of, will deliver a lecture on African media and cinema. He is a founding board member of the New York African Film Festival (NYAFF) of Lincoln Center, which celebrated its 25th anniversary.

Niang is also a senior level broadcast audiovisual and digital production executive with experience in international newsrooms as a senior journalist. He has more than 30 years of experience covering news, producing documentaries and human-interest programs for global television and radio, while managing production teams of major international broadcasters from the New York bureaus. 

Following the lecture will be a reception with the Francophone Club.
