Join us Fridays at noon for the latest Turnbull series that examines queer and binary representation within the world of art and design, as well as its audiences. The series coincides with and is conceptually aligned with Lehman College Art Gallery’s spring 2023 exhibition, Queer Love: Affection and Romance in Contemporary Art. 

Moderated by David Schwittek, associate professor of Digital Media and Graphic Design in the Art Department of Lehman College.

Virtual Reality Training Academy (Multi-Day Event)

The Virtual Reality Training Academy teaches the skills needed to create Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications for industry and education covering many diverse fields, including: architecture, product visualization, game creation, multimedia design, and broadcast media.

Come
and network with your peers and know more about our next VR program starting in spring 2020. You will have the chance to speak to the instructor(s) and former participants. A 15-week/180 hour course, on immersive media. Composed of eight modules, the course will focus on the Unity platform as the means to developing content for Augmented and Virtual Reality.  Students will receive a Lehman College certificate and badge.

Explore methods, tools, and gain resources for finding selecting, and landing internship opportunities. This is only for current students and alumni.

Unity Platform: Intermediate
Expand your Unity know-how with this intermediate level course, which will focus on lighting, audio, physics, particle systems and basic animation. Discussions and demonstrations on how this impacts game play and the mood of any application will be shown. Useful assets, both free and paid, from the Asset Store will be highlighted. Prerequisite: Intro to Unity Platform.

Blackboard Evening Office Hours
Steve Castellano will be available to faculty to answer questions about Blackboard during ‘office hours,’ beginning Monday, March 23 through Thursday, March 26, from 5-6 p.m.
