Early Childhood Development in Underserved Communities: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Practice

Event Description:

The Parent-Child Home Program, the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter CollegeBrooklyn College, and the Jaime Lucero CUNY Mexican Studies Institute cordially invite all early childhood stakeholders -- educators, students, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, community-based organizations, and parents -- to participate in a conference entitled "Early Childhood Development in Underserved Communities: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Practice".

Location: Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College

Date: April 12, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

 

Ultimately, through these initial, exploratory, and integrative discussions, the plan is to develop a structure for strengthening existing collaborations and establish new partnerships that can influence the policies and practices that impact children and families living in underserved communities.
