Event Description:
Beloved educational researcher and philosopher Dr. Maxine Greene [1917-2014] has inspired generations of educators and activists across the globe. Incorporating some of the last known interview footage of Greene, Karyn Cooper and Doctoral student Alison Mann have woven together a narrative that features Greene’s highly introspective thinking on education, significance of the arts, social imagination, politics, and much more.
Dr. Karyn Cooper is a professor in department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, University of Toronto.
Alison Mann is a year-four Ph.D. student and film and media educator with over 18 years of secondary school classroom experience.
