Are you concerned about the impact of high textbook costs on your students?
The Library is hosting a lunch-time workshop on Open Educational Resources (OER) on Wednesday, April 25th, 12:30-2:00. All Lehman faculty and adjuncts are welcome to attend.
Open Educational Resources [OER] provide an excellent opportunity to save students hundreds - if not thousands - of dollars on textbooks.
What You Can Do
Attend the Open Textbook Workshop - a 90-minute session where you can discover open textbooks in your field. After the workshop - you’ll be invited to write a short review of an open textbook from the Open Textbook Library [http://open.umn.edu/opentextbooks/].
Your review will benefit other faculty considering open textbooks. You’ll receive a $200 stipend for your written review.
All Lehman faculty and adjuncts are welcome to attend
Workshop facilitated by Madeline Cohen and Alison Lehner-Quam
