Event Description: The Lehman Chamber Players will perform works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Antonín Dvořák, Gioachino Rossini, William Grant Still, Henryk Wieniawski, and Baroque composer Johann Joachim Quantz.
Performers include coloratura
soprano Osceola Davis, a member of Lehman College’s voice faculty who
has appeared at the Metropolitan Opera and internationally as concerto
soloist; critically acclaimed violinist Alexander
Meshibovsky, a student of Jascha Heifetz; oboist Alan Hollander, an
adjunct professor of music at Lehman, conductor of the Lehman College
Community Band and mainstay in the Lehman Woodwind Quintet; and pianist
Diana Mittler-Battipaglia, professor of music and choral director at
Lehman.
