Flutist Juan Baez performs his senior recital, exploring the evolution of the flute through various time periods and techniques. Ana Rosa Hernandez accompanies on piano.

Juan Baez, a native of the Dominican Republic, began his musical study on the recorder in school at the age of 12. He continued to develop his knowledge and skill in church, and later at the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in DR. Largely self-taught on flute, he began formal study in the US with Donna Elaine at Lehman College. After earning his bachelor's degree in Music at Lehman College, Juan plans to continue his education for a master's.
