Concert - "Holiday Cameos" with the Lehman College Community Band
The Lehman College Community Band will celebrate the season with "Holiday Cameos: Snapshots of the Season," a free concert featuring a mix of holiday music and classics for wind band.

Lead by Professor Alan Hollander, the ensemble will perform a wide range of works, including the classic Sicilian Vespers Overture by Giuseppe Verdi, and Percy Grainger's timeless Children's March (subtitled "Over the Hills and Far Away"). Also featured will be Victor Herbert's March of the Toys from the movie Babes in Toyland, and Alfred Reed's arrangement of the ever-popular folk melody Greensleeves. Rounding out the program will be perennial holiday favorites Christmas Festival, Chanukah Festival Overture, and not one but two sleigh rides: the eponymous work by Leroy Anderson, and Serge Prokofieff's joyful "Troika" from the Lieutenant Kije Suite.
