Join us on Wednesday, March 22 from 4:00 - 5:30 PM to get some tips about writing your Personal Statement Essay for your graduate school application.  We will talk about how the statement is used by an admissions committee, how to handle potentially negative information in your record, how the essay is normally structured, and a host of other suggestions.

The series coincides with and is conceptually aligned with Lehman College Art Gallery’s spring 2023 exhibition, Queer Love: Affection and Romance in Contemporary Art.

Create a floral drawing based on the work of artist Vaughn Spann!
Look, learn, and create together! Enjoy a family art class based on works in our exhibition Young Gifted and Black: The Lumpkin-Boccuzzi Family Collection of Contemporary Art!

Materials needed:
  • Any papers, recycle some mail or newspaper
  • Pencil

If you have but not necessary:

WONDERFUL FLIGHT TO THE MUSHROOM PLANET will be aired on Bronxnet, Optimum and Fios and www.bronxnet.tv worldwide, beginning December 10. Please enjoy this production of the Collaborative Musical Theatre Troupe at Lehman composed by Professor Penny Prince. The work featured various members of the Lehman College community, including current students, alumni, and staff. You can see Lehman College alumni Colette Ambo pictured below.
