Event Description:
The Lehman Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Professor Victor Rendón, will perform Latin percussion works from the Caribbean and South America, including the Cuban rumba-guaguancó, bembé, and batá, among other styles.
A wide range of folkloric and modern percussion instruments will be featured, including congas/tumbadoras, timbales, drumset, bongó, clave, maracas, shekere, güiro, and various other percussion instruments.
