Violinist Yung-Yu Ling, winner of the Felix Galimir Chamber Music Award and the Taiwan Young Elite Award among other accolades, has studied violin in her native Taiwan, the US, and is currently pursuing her DMA at the University of Toronto, Canada. She will be joined by pianist Alber Chien, and violist Maxime Despax to perform Johan Halvorsen’s Passacaglia for Violin and Viola, Jean Sibelius’ Five Pieces for Violin and Piano, and Richard Strauss’ Violin Sonata in E-flat Major. | Music Building - (306 (Recital Hall)) |
