3:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Lehman College International Feast of Thanks
The Lehman student government organization will host an event for fellow students to celebrate international students day by paying homage to their cultural background and lifestyle. This will boost student morale, provide a safe space for students and allow them to actively engage with other cultural experiences. Activities include music, a variety of internationally culturally themed food and live dance performances, and goodie bags. In addition, we will celebrate Thanksgiving with traditional dinner foods.
Students are encouraged and should feel open to consulting the student government if they plan to do a dance and/or singing performance consisting of cultural themes and music during the event to gain access to song/playlist requests for the DJ. (Note: please confirm your interest in performing individually or in a group by contacting the Lehman student governments Andre Thompson-Technology and Design Officer (Host), Sanjay Ramsundar-Senator (Co-host), Yamiletl Martinez Mena- Mexican Student Society (MSS) President (Co-host), or Tina Nguyen-Events Coordinator.
