Event Description: Lehman College, the New York Botanical Garden, and The Graduate Center will celebrate 50 years of Plant Science with a special lecture on Friday, November 16, in Lehman College's Science Hall, Rm. 1405.
Delivering welcome remarks will be Lehman's Plant Sciences Chair Dr. Renuka Sankaran, Dean of Natural and Social Sciences Daniel Lemons, NYBG President Carrie Rebora Barratt, and Dean Joshua Brumberg of The Graduate Center.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Sally Mackenzie of Pennsylvania State University Lloyd and Dottie Huck Chair for Functional Genomics Professor for Biology and Plant Science.
There will be a special alumni talk following the keynote address.
