2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Piano Trio Concert Featuring Music by Ravel, Haydn, and Schumann

Violinist Carmit Zori, cellist Marcy Rosen, and pianist Molly Morkoski present an afternoon of trios by Ravel, Haydn, and Schumann. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Ravel's important, colorful, and highly virtuosic trio, which was written during the onset of World War I and completed before the composer enlisted.

The Haydn trio in F-sharp minor, written in 1794, is one of his later works. In it, the slow movement has a more romantic melodic and harmonic construction than his earlier works. Lastly, Robert Schumann's Fantasiestücke is a lovely and virtuosic set of three short works for cello and piano.

Please join Ms. Zori, Ms. Rosen, and Professor Morkoski for this free performance.
