St. Barnabas Hospital Mobile Mammogram Van will be at Gate 5 on Tuesday, October 25th from 10-3pm offering mammograms to women over age 40. Free to uninsured women. Bring mom or grandma. Just call x 8900 to schedule an appointment.

Milagros Ricourt Reading: The Dominican Racial Imaginary
Milagros Ricourt is a professor in the Latin American, Latino, and Puerto Rican Studies Department at Lehman College. Through fieldwork at the Dominican-Haitian border, she provides a firsthand narrative of how Dominicans are resisting the official account of their national identity, and instead embracing the African influence that has always been part of their cultural heritage. Presented by the Latin American, Latino, and Puerto Rican Studies Department and the Leonard Lief Library.
