We’re pleased to announce that Lehman College’s 2023 Commencement ceremony will be held in person on campus on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. 

We look forward to celebrating the hard work of the Class of ’23 this spring! If your Degree was awarded in Fall '22, Winter '23, Spring '23 or Summer '23, you are eligible to participate in the June 1st ceremony.

10:00 AM Updates on COVID-19: What the Virus Tells Us About Immune Response, Treatment and Vaccine Development
Since March, biologists have been racing to learn more about COVID-19 and the new coronavirus that causes it. What have they learned? What is left to be discovered? As we head into fall and a possible “second wave,” hear from two expert biologists, professors from the Lehman College Department of Biology, who will explain the biology of a virus, what makes coronaviruses unique among them; what scientists have learned about “long haulers”–those with immune responses associated with chronic coronavirus infections; and virus detection, treatment and vaccine development.
