David Font-Navarrete (percussion, electronics, and visuals)
This meditative multimedia performance combines electro-acoustic sound and visual art, inviting the audience to hear drawings and see sounds. Using experimental microphone techniques, Professor Font-Navarrete creates a unique, abstract palette of sounds that includes voices, field recordings, electronically generated tones, and gestures on both acoustic instruments (drums and bells) and solid objects (paper, wood, and glass). | Music Building - (306 (Recital Hall)) |
