Event Description
The Puerto Rican literary festival comes to New York! Come hear an esteemed panel of writers as they discuss literature, the media, and other important topics. Featuring Awilda Cáez, Rosa Beltrán, Mayra Santos-Febres, Julio Ricardo Varela, José Manuel Fajardo, and Hilda García. The title of the panel is "Writing Across Genres and
Oceans: the Evolution of Fiction and Nonfiction Writing for English and Spanish-speaking Audiences." Introduction by Dr. Anny Morrobel-Sosa, Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs. Co-sponsored by City and the Humanities and the Office of the President.
